Default best clutch for my application? And thoughts on the zc tranny: is it worth it or not?

ok right now i have a sohc zc mated to a dx tranny in my 88 crx. At the moment i have a exedy oem replacement clutch and when i rev the car to redline and shift the clutch likes to slip a little before fully grabbing. I have been considering doing the zc tranny swap (let me know what you guys think of this tranny as well) and if i do that i will need to change the clutch so i am wondering which brand and which stage you guys recommend?

I will probably also get an aluminum flywheel so any recommendations for that as well would be great.

Check out the clutches at lsdmotorsports.com, good clutches for a good price.

what will my motor rev to at 70 mph with the zc tranny? Doesnt the zc have a 3.88 final drive? or is it a 4.25?

the ZC final is 3.88, but in 4th and 5th it is still shorter gearing than the Si in 4th and 5th even with the Si 4.25 final, but only slightly shorter

well since i have a dx tranny at the moment do you think i will be able to notice a difference? Also i read that equal length axels eliminate torque steer, is that true? because i must say i have quite a bit right now with the unequal length axels in the dx tranny.

As far as noticing a difference in the DX and Si or ZC tranny... Oh yea you will definitely notice a difference!
You'll probably like it way better than the DX... stiffer gears make a huge difference

Before, I also have a dx tranny. I just had a zc tranny with my new exedy clutch, exedy flywheel last month and there’s definitely an obvious difference with the gears. You’d surely be happy with the result.
