Default Changing the timing belt with the motor out of the car

How easy is it to change the timing belt with the motor out of the car and on a crate? Is there a trick to keeping the crankshaft from moving when taking off the crank pulley?

its suppperrrr easy to do it with the motor out of the car. i would really take the belt off from the cam gears first, then the crank pully. ive always done it that way. with the motor in or out of the car.

i always had a buddy hold the pully itself and had a long pipe or something of that sort on the ratchet im using, and used quick spirts of force to the bolt. like an impact wrench, only a manual one.
