i know how much the engine costs
but not the installation

 

contact hasport they have a mount kit and would know more then anyone on the swap

Speaking of k20's, has anyone on HT done this?

 

There are at least one ive seen in the cosmetic section. He has a BOM ( i think ) with a k20a and a **** load of goodies

there has been a few done by big companies, some aren't running, some are. there is one guy on fitfreak.net doing the swap right now, that's the only person i know that is doing it with money out of his own pocket.

Do you mean HT members in North America only?

 

I want to do the conversion as well, but i'm going to wait til they work out all the kinks... There's a guy that had his swap done by hasport. He's on fitswap.org

if i had $12k for a swap i would buy an eg and do it , not a fit

hasport quoted between $10k and $12k depending on what you wanted

thats almost the cost of the car . . not really worht the horsepower to money thing, but, thats just me

 

Pick up this months Sport Compact Car, they have a "DIY" For a K20 Fit.

 

yeah,i think i am going to drop a turbo instead because of the cost for a swap.
