dpfi to mpfi plust odb0 to odb1 help needed rywire jumper does not match
i need to do a odb0 to odb1 conversion plus a dpfi to mpfi at the same time
i put a b18c1 in my crx dx.
i do have rywires odb0 to odb1 jumper but it does not match .
ive looked up the dpfi to mpfi swaps and in one of the spots i think its like b12 or b11 .. whereever your spose to relocate the oarnge and white wires from c1 and c2 well i have a blue/red wire there and from what i can tell its for my ac. so im at a loss because every dpfi to mpfi swap ive read says that the spot is going to be blank and its not i have a blue/red wire that is for ac!!!! ive already tried to do this following ecu pin outs ive just been runing wires out to the engin compartment straight from the ecu and im 99% sure i have everything rite. but my main relay clicks when i crank and i have no spark. when i try and get codes out of the ecu by jumping the oarnge and blue wires that rywire added with the vtec harness i get 1 flash of the chkeng lite so i know im getting code 1. i really need help here i do not feel like buying 2 new engine harness and spending 300 bucks at rywire when i know im so close and i can do it myself. i just have to be misssing something

how are you reading the plugs, are you going across or up down and counting?
if you are reading it right, there may or may not have a wire there, dont worry about it and just do it and see if it work

Pins B10 and B12 should be empty. ( sometimes there is a wire in the B12 spot). So it looks like you got the wrong pin for the one it is B10 not B11.
For the clicking realy make sure you have all your grounds. (thermostat, starter, tranny, valve cover to chassis, there might be a couple more) When my relay clicked it clicked like crazy with a solid red light on the ecu. Check the grounds anyway.

the blue/red wire is at ECU pin B8 - it is for the A/C fan control - B12 only has wire on auto transmission cars for shift lock control unit
im reading the pinout rite all the colors are where they are spose to be and i only said b10 b11 because i couldnt remember and i wasnt at my car at that sec. but no i have the rite pins it must have been b10 and b12 . im telling you there is a blue and red wire and its for like the ac. my pinout i got off mitchel even says that it should be there and it is. but all the dpfi to mpfi says that it should not be!!! ill take some pics later today
you must be counting the pins wrong - the blue/red for the A/C fan is at B8
bottom row on 'B' connector:
B2 - orange
B4 - yellow/green
B6 - green/orange
B8 - blue/red
B10 - empty
B12 - empty (white/red on cars with auto trans)
B14 - blue
B16 - yellow/red
B18 - empty
B20 - brown

i know i cut the wire i was pissed lol and i fig it was for ac and i took that out
i remember tracing where that wire went to on the p72 95 gsr ecu (i have the rywire jumper in the middle) and it went to like a fuel injector or a dist. wire. i wonder if my ecu pinout is worng anyone have a 95 integra gsr odb1 pinout
ok looking back on all my work i must have messed up.. well im tring todo the mpfi swap on the odb0 to odb1 harness because i do not want to cut into my interior harness (had a hard time fining it and dont wanna mess it up and look for a new one)
so i have a ? can i just wire the dist. and the fuel injectors rite off the ecu or do i have to wire it into the rest of the harness. my thinking is that it ties in somewhere else and the wires do not run straight to the dist. ?

That's not true. My manual civic had a wire in the B12 spot.
For the injector you run wires from two of the pin in the A plug. I want to say the A3 and the A7 but check that before you start cutting. For the dizzy. you run two wire to from the C plug (check this to make sure),it might be the C1 and C2 pins, to the dizzy plug. Hopefully that helps some???

ok well all my wires check out i went over it agin and again and found my mistake.
but my main relay clicks on and the fuel pump turns about 1/2 after i first hear it click it clicks again and i hear the fuel pump turn on again . so i try to crank and my car does crank. but i have no spark and as soon as im done cranking i hear my fuelpump turn back on ?!?!

well my ecu light is flashing just one time.. i also unpluged the o2 sensor and my relay is clicking alot more
its sounds like some sort of short somewhere or a grounding issue. although the fact that you car is cranking makes the idea of a grounding problem hard to believe. do you have an obd1 distributor?
