Taking the ZC apart for minor cleaning.
well i finally put it on a engine stand (325435X better than working on the floor) and i took off the fuel rail and the throttle body....
when i took off the throttle body i looked inside the intake manaifold runners and they were PITCH BLACK... and i mean like a real thick layer of black carbon deposits mixed with oil it appears. previous owner didnt run an air filter for the 2 months he owned the turbo so im thinkin that is why it might look that bad... any other ideas on why? is it normal? is it bad to have it that dirty? if i took the intake manifold off what would the the easiest and most effective way to clean out all that grime in there?
oh and one more thing... what color are the exhaust valves supposed to be?
