I put stuff on my car that helps performance, but i also like to have a nice looking car.

 

a clean stock look, nothing more

the rest for power/handling/braking/maintenece

I used to be fast (not really) and furious (not really). Now I wont pay any money for something that doesnt help performance or keep my car in working order...unless it is cheaper than an OEM part ie clear corners.

 

i buy mods that will help performance but just a little show, i also like the 'stock' look, just with a conservative 'sporty' drop.

Ever since every honda around here has gone strictly rice, I wont really buy anything else that is show, no go. They can look "stunnin" with their 20 neons and wild airplane landing strip spoilers, but the look on their face when they race you and you pull off on em like a bad habit is priceless. They should make a site dedicated to just those people's faces that got stomped in their cars who think they're the ****.

 

Well it seems that I have been replacing everything before it breaks, at least so far but I also buy the go fast parts.

 

if it aint broke, don't fix it. my car has only one addition, fog lights

 

I have bought and tried just about every part availible for my set-up. Let me tell you there was a lot of wasted money and parts. Trying to get stuff that works is a chore. Looks...well that is another issue.

 

it needs to look somewhat different than stock just to show that you have an abnormal car that isn't as slow as the stock version!

 

I have gotten out of the whole show scene, so I don't spend any more money on looks. Well, that is except for the occasional coat of wax. I probably will not even replaced my newly cracked bumper. Of course, I am probably not going to be spending any more money on go either. I am kinda done with all of it. I just have fun playing every once and a while.
