Sandy the Dog, The motorcycle pillion rider
Some of you might think this is stupid and dangerous, but I think this is pretty cool.
This guy has over 26,000 miles with Sandy The Dog on the back of his scooter.
The dog sits on the back of his motorcycle all the time.

In one of the pics he does have a helmet. I am not sure if he wears it all the time though.

People who have never ridden a motorcycle would think that WE are crazy for wanting to ride something so dangerous. This guy loves his dog and he loves riding. Whats wrong with having 'his bestfriend' enjoy his hobby with him? I am not into animals as much as my bro and sis are, and I am sure they would want to take their dog/cat with them wherever they go. I like to take my girl with me when I ride. This guy likes to take his dog. His dog has been doing it since he was a pup and in 26,000 miles he hasn't fallen off. I am sure the dog enjoys riding as much as the guy does. Anything that you can say about the dog, someone can say about us as riders. We all take risk riding a motorcycle, no matter how much gear we wear. I never go out unless fully suited up in my gear, but I LOVE to ride. It doesn't mean that people don't think I'm crazy for riding. They probably think that I wear so much gear because I want to go faster. Cagers who aren't interested in riding are ignorant.
Bottom line, this guy loves his dog, and he loves riding, and I am sure his dog loves riding with him too.

I wish he would have designed some sort of "cage" to hold the guy in just in case something did happen (had to swerve/stop quicky, whatever). But in the end, I don't see how this is any less responsible than having your kid on the back of your motorcycle

I had a dog that would ride with me, although she straddled the tank while we rode. I never went very far with her on the bike, maybe around the block a few times... she loved it.
