DPFI to MPFI 1989 civic hatch

DPFI to MPFI 1989 civic hatch
swapping an LS complete swap but the original d series is DPSI. Can i just use the LS wire harness and everything will be fine? if not what do i have to do?

It will be easier to modify your existing DPFI harness to accept the MPFI motor.
