Default Anybody know where I can get Amber fog lights? not bulbs... the entire housing???

I've got my HID's on the way and I want that amber/yellow fog light look.

anybody know where to get them? I saw a Fit at a car show with some but I couldn't find the owner to ask.

Thanks

Why not just get a sheet of Lamin-x?

^^^ both are great options

or if you want the actual lighting look of yellow also rather than the day time look with it, go look up member operatic.. hooked me up with these HIDs.

OEM lens cover, not painted or filmed w/ yellow laminx.

On some applications, Laminx can get heated to the point where it starts to burn and turn black. It happened on my 06 Civic and I've heard of the same thing happening to other people. I'd never buy that stuff for my fogs again.

We've had Lamni-x on the G/F's fit for over a month with no issues. Was it right away or after a certian period of time that you had trouble with it?

It was fine for the first week or so. After that I would see it smoking but no marks or anything. Then one time I looked closely and the plastic was darkening. It eventually turned black in the middle on both lenses. There are people in the 06+ Civic forum who have experienced the same problem.

I emailed the guys over at laminx and they said they'd send me a new thinner set and I never even got them. Maybe the Fit fogs don't get as hot, who knows. It's the same bulb I believe.

you can just use a film or tint and they'll send you a sheet of it and you make it the size you need.

can you take the housing apart, to paint the inside of the lens. Or are you all just painting the outside

i got justin from Lamni-x to make a custom fit fog light sheet. So its all cut and ready to go when you receive it. he said with these it should solve the problem with the blackening so far its still good no darkening in the middle. for justin at lamin-x...ask for the fit fog light application.

I've seen any number of amber fog lights on eBay...

I have no idea about whether or not the wiring is up to the job, though. (hmmm... there's another thread right there)
