15x6.5 OR 15x7 wheels
I have a 91 CRX SI and I plan on getting a set of Falken Azenis RT-615's in 205/50/15.
I heard that Falken tires tend to be a little wide, so I was thinking a 15x7 wheel would be better. However, after the Falkens go bald, I might switch to a set of 205/50/15 Khumo SPT's.
So I guess my question is, would any 205/50/15 tire fit on a 15x7 wheel? Whether it be Falken's, Khumo's, BF Goodrich G-force...etc.
And lastly, what are the pro's and con's of each wheel? For a 205 tire, which wheel width would have better perfomance, 6.5" or 7"?
TIA.

I would get the 15x6.5 if you're considering getting other tires in the future.
Most 205/50-15 tires are approved for mounting on rims that are 5.5-7.5 inches wide. That means that 15x6.5 is perfect for most tires. If you said you ONLY plan on using the Azenis, I would consider 15x7, but otherwise, get the 15x6.5, which will be fine for the Azenis as well as other tires.
