Question about Powder Coating ? ? ?
I have a set of rims , that one of the rims got damaged . the are scratches and one chip in the poweder coat . Can I "Touch up" these marks at home or is there a place I can go to have them professionally touched up . There isn't any damage on the other rims and I really don't want to get new rims . Any help ?
the touch up paint will not eat away at the powder coating.... it really is up to you.
if you can cover it up, go for it. if you want it professionally done, then take it to a wheel repair shop (your local discount tire or NTB can send it off for you) it usually costs about $150 to return a wheel to like-new condition.
