Default Greddy 4-2-1 vs. DC Sports 4-1

I am looking at purchasing headers and wanted to know your guy's opinions on which ones to get. I really like my Greddy TiC exhaust, but I've been told, and it makes sense that a 4-1 header is going to be more functional. However I don't know if the greddy is built better in some way, and why the don't build a 4-1 for the 99-00 Civic SI. Thanks for the input

Greddy and DC obtain the roughly the same level of quality, IMO. I'd personally go with the DC 4-1 among your two options, however I think you'll have to either lengthen or shorten the exhuast in order for it to fit...being the reason it's not offered for your style chassis.

My suggestion would be to purchase the best header you can afford, since at some later date, you'll likely decide you want to upgrade from the Greddy or DC anyway. For the EM1, I'd look at the Toda Racing manifold.

Since the B16 is a torqueless wonder that makes decent power in the mid to high RPM level I reccomend going with the 4 - 1

yeah, B16's aren't known for making crazy torque figures that's for sure. but i think that's why i'd use the 4-2-1. give your 1.6 a little more torque down low and in the middle. it's nice to have an all around get up and go motor rather then an 6000rpm plus monster if you ask me. now if you were planning on only dragging it that's a different story
