Help Needed: 91 Civic won't start
Really need some direction/help, Please.
Car Info: 91 Honda Civic LX 4DR 1.5L DPFI 5Speed. All Stock. Regular maintenance done at Honda dealer.
Problem Background: Car ran like a dream with no problems. Once every couple of months after making a short trip it would not turn over when trying to restart. Wait 30secs with key off and it would start right up and run normally. Stopped to get gas and Car would not even turn over. Push started and went home, car drove normally. Will not start since.
Trouble shooting tried: Checked Battery at Advance - Good(Only six month old die-hard). Checked engine compartment for any loose connections all seem good. Read forums which suggested Main Relay. Pulled Relay and tested per Honda Service Manual and it shows good. CEL comes on for 2 secs then goes out when key in position II (ON). You can hear fuel pump start. Turning key to position III (Start) You can hear a single what sounds like a relay click under the dash. But it does not crank or make any attempt to start. No error blinks on ECU. Checked Fuses under dash and in engine compartment one at a time and all are good. Checked Clutch Switch and good.
I don't have any spare parts and I can't afford to just ramdomly buy parts to swap out. It would be really great if one of the gurus out there could steer me in the right direction so I don't have to take this into the shop. Thanks.

No I haven't checked the ignition switch. Do you mean the ignition switch in the steering column where the key goes or there's another electronic switch somewhere isn't there?
Either way, how do I test it?
