i dont think it bolts up. don't you need the cable conversion kit from hasport?

NO

All you have to do is make sure you get the proper clutch disc that matches the
transmission. 90-91 and 92+ are different sizes. the pressure plates are all the same

yes it bolts up. For you having a 89 civic, it won't be much a problem either since you have cable clutch anyways. For mounting the motor and the tranny, you will be Hasport mounts.
