Default faceplate repair

Anyone know where if faceplates are repairable or where to buy parts for one? My brother dropped the faceplate from his JVC KD-SX9350 and now the display is all messed up. I opened the faceplate up and it seems that the only part that was damaged is this piece that has some sort of dye or film between two pieces of glass. See the pics below:

QLD0257-001 is the part number.. but says part NLA(no longer available)....

thanks for the reply.QLD0257-001 was replaced by QLD0295-001. Its $88.00 though and thats the whole lcd screen. For that price I can get a new faceplate or headunit. There has to be a way to fix this sceen.

If the LCD is damaged, then no, there isn't a way to fix it.

As stated previously, you cannot repair an LCD. If you separate the two pieces of glass, you will achieve nothing but breaking it further.
