ive tried searching but to no avail, so theres bound to be someone out there who has tried this, have a b16a in my integra, but i have a rebuilt bottom end of a b18c, will the two work in harmony or will it just blow up, i can get my hands on a b18 head, but apparently the b16 inlet manifold wont fit a b18 head? im so confused.

you must not have searched very hard. Search Poormans type R. You put a B16 head on a B18C block.

A GSR intake manifold will not fit on the PR3 head.

 

the b16 head will fit a b16 head or a type r head but not a gsr

Get that misinformation bullshit out of here. A B16 head WILL fit on a GSR block.

 

i also have a b18c5 block that need a head. i'm looking to buy a B16 head. will i be ok to use my C5 mani and cams shafts?

 

You can fit it perfectly. But when you put a B16 head on a GSR block you lower the compression which can ideal for boost but if your going N?A id reccomend changing the pistons.

 

my bad i meant to say a b16 manifold will only fit b16 or type r head,where a gsr manifold can only stay on the gsr head
