How to tell if you have a Y1 LSD TRANNY?
I was wondering how can you tell if you have a LSD tranny. I have a y1 tranny and when I look thru the middle of it I see something in the middle. Does that mean I have a LSD tranny.

But sometimes that LSD stamp comes off when they use all those chemicals at the warehouses to clean the eng, tranny's.

Cable Tranny has "TWO" LSD markings on them.
#1. It has the LSD mark on ink.
#2. It has an ingrave (just like the block code) on the top..its very small letters (~12pt font size) that says LSD
also, if the tranny is out look through the hole where the axles go---you should see through it (NO bar blocking your way)
EDIT: If there is a bar through it---IT'S NOT LSD.

jdm stock lsd tranny you will be able to look write throug the axle holes. that is the only way to tell unless you tear it aprart. bottom line pull out half shaft and axle and look throug to the day light.
