man...i brought my canon with me but didn't get any opps to take any pics...i was too busy cooling off and driving my eg through qualifying

yeah, i got a feeling that front end isn't going to fly

I knew this would be inevitable....let the debate begin! I read the rule book before we decided to go forward with it and it didn't seem like we were breaking any rules. "lightweight body panels limited to hood, fenders and deck lid. Aftermarket body kits permitted, but full street legal appearance must be maintained. One piece front end prohibited." The "3 piece" front end is commercially available from us. i'm assuming there will be a " no widebody kits allowed in SPFWD" rule revision in the near future? Oh well, I think it would still look awesome on all motor cars that run the same 25" slick, and maybe a fwd drag radial car running 225's on the front? I'll look into the legality of it in other race sanctioning bodies as well. As far as NHRA, maybe they can chime in as to how Matt passed tech for SPFWD in Vegas if it is indeed "not legal."
