Default Stock HP on 97R 00R?

what's the stock HP on the 97R and 00R? Are they both 195 @ crank? i heard the 97R's had a weaker motor then the 98-01. i went to dyno my 97R @ 160whp and my friend's 00R with a mugen intake dynoed @ 160 also.

it would be interesting to hear more details of this comparison and see the dyno charts. i thought the mugen intakes actually improved performance... =P i'm sure there were other things that led to dynoing the same numbers.

The intake cam on the 97 has a diff profile than the 00. That is correct.

could bad or low numbers on the 00r be a results of low compression? like bad pistons rings?
