Trust me... This was the first H-T meet I went to and it was in a small parking lot (at a park) so there really wasnt too much space to work with (unless the car was parked "solo" where I could use more of the camera's potential; I have a Canon 30D w/ a wide angle lens so I need more room to take a "full size" body shot of a car!!!)
O-well, If you dont like the pic's I'm sorry!!!

Yes, It's capable of getting more of the car but I'm also very picky with my pictures...
Example: I could have gotten quite a few corner shots of cars but then you'd have reflection pretty bad (of other cars) which kind-of ruin the picture IMO... There is one that I took of the silver colored ef hatch... You can see the coupe thats parked next to it in the paint reflection.
I also dont like to take pictures w/ mulitple cars in the same picture... IE: The parking spots were really close so in order for me to get the entire "focal car," it would also include both cars on each side.
O-well, these are the pics I have. Sorry, my disposable camera sucks

I hate to tell you Sparky; the camera doesnt take pictures by itself... The Photographer must only 1/2 suck
Sorry I didnt take full shot pictures that would include every car in the surrounding area... Jeez-us, all of the haters are out...
