Default Difference in 94-95 and 96-97 trunks?

Is there any difference in the trunk lids from 94-95 and 96-97 besides the lights and plate box? I was wondering if the back contour (top of trunk lid right above where the H emblem is)is the same for both? I bought a used Mugen replica wing that a guy had on a 95 and was wondering if it will fit perfectly? If not I'll sell it and buy one from Gen5Alive.

they are probably slightly different, but i think a mugen style wing would probably fit fine without too much issue

Yeah, i think the back "lip" or whatever you want to call it- where it goes from horizontal to vertical it a bit more rounded. But it shouldn't be an issue, if that is correct (i don't know if it is).
