My blood boils every time I see this type of thing happening. Like an ad from a saturn dealer I saw the other day on autotrader. Car had like 30k miles and they wanted $28

Do they think there are actually people dumb enough to pay that price....the sad truth is yes

 

yeah the saturn dealer sucks ***....i went there to try and bargin with one of the sales reps and they lowered it down to $26.. I tried to get it down to $22 but they said that they paid 23K for the car so they dont wanna lose any money.

 

Most Car Dealer's are also VERY sneaky. I live in Ontario, Canada, and I will NEVER buy a car from a dealer, EVER!

I am presently looking at a 2000 Yellow ITR with 24 000KM. The price is $24K CDN. A VERY good price. I am just nervous about spending soo much money, because my job is not that stable at the moment........Good Luck car hunting!!!

 

sounds like this the itr owners who've had their car's stolen might want to clip and show to their insurance companies.... it's a collectors item you better believe it's worth 28K -rob

 

Ya, I think ITR's WILL be worth something one day. I really want to buy this one I have my eye on, stick it under a tarp, and only drive it occasionally!

 

BTW $28 000 USD IS CRAZY!!! That is OVER $40 000 CDN. I was looking at the 2001 CW Type (red Seats) at the dealer when it came out, and could have bought it for $31 000CDN.

 

I know, ITRs are highly desired cars by normal enthusiasts and also THIEVES . But the dealer is price gouging (sp?) like crazy. They want more for the car "used" than it was brand new? That's bullshit and IMO can not be justified, by oh "it's limited edition", "highly desired", "rare", etc. Just an example, this same Mini Cooper Dealer has a used 2001 Spa Yellow S2K with 7K miles. They want $31K!! For another $2K I can buy a brand new S2k!! It's a fockin joke.. Damn I want that R..

 

No different than the infamous 19K 2000 Civic Si's at the dealers here....even with like 40K they go for 18,995 at Honda Cars of Mesa,USED!!!!!I paid 17K for my old 2000,new!

 

Wow, 2000 SIs are that much? How much you think I can get for my MR 2000 Si with 32K miles, mint condition?
