use only 55w h3 bulbs
or else you will explode your fog light assembly if you use too high wattage bulbs.

actually sgt, he is correct. the yellow part of the housings so crack (i.e. explode). if you use the higher wattage bulbs. the heat stresses those parts.

if your housings have not been damaged yet, i would think its only a matter of time.

Never seen it happen. A few of use use these high wattage bulbs.
I've had mine for oh lets see.... 5 years now. no cracking.

So you are testifying that the high wattage bulb will cause the yellow surround
to EXPLODE and break the outer housing?

.... i've never seen someone so defensive about this sort of statement before.

what i will say is, i have seen numerous cracked housings due to overheating of those higher wattage bulbs.

Well, when you use a word like EXPLODE, then that connotates a violent result.
Something which I think a lot of people would take seriously.

I think the little yellow surround would crack, but the actual headlight housing
would be fine. Regardless mine are still like new(well as new as you can get
for 5 years of abuse)

Gee, it looks like its fine to me. Doesnt look like anything EXPLODED.
That headlight housing is still in perfect functional condition.

If you mean that stupid little yellow piece BROKE then you are right, anything
that small and thin can break. It can happen with 55w or 110w or just with age.

So stop it with your overdramatic garbage. EXPLOSION?? psha...
