1, 2, 3 gears are going in soft

1, 2, 3 gears are going in soft
why is it that my 1st 3rd and 5th gears are going in so soft? 2nd 4th and reverse go in fine. When the car is not moving, when i shift it in the odd gears a couple times the softness goes away! i just got a new clutch and flywheel put in too. wtf is going on?
