Default New Car/New Project/New to site

Hi Everybody,

I recently bought a 1990 honda civic dx but the problem is, my friend who i bought the car from swapped the engine because the dx was blown and i'm stuck with an crx's HF motor it gets good gas mileage but I want more power......alot more than an HF ahah I am going to start working on the car very soon and I was wondering if any1 could suggest swaps? I am new to Ef's so im not exactly sure...my previous car was a 87 Crx SI and i was thinking just swapping that into the Ef but its no longer my car so if any1 could help i'd be very grateful thanks for you're time to look at my post.
I'll have pics posted asap, most likely by tomorow so you can my hatch!
Thanks again

Suggesting a swap is like trying to decide what you want to do for a career, there are many variables that come into play. Things like budget, goals, etc. However, for use as a DD I suggest a SOHC or DOHC ZC or an LS swap. All are relatively cheap and relatively easy to do.

Secondly, trying to swap the motor from your 87 CRX is not worth your time. Trust me.
