cv question on ls swap. . . .damn making too many trying to search but not savvy

Default cv question on ls swap. . . .damn making too many trying to search but not savvy

anyways am i able to use a abs cv joint on a hatch?

specifics; 91 ls swap and of course the hatch doesn't have abs so can i still use these cv's or no?

you can use them but it wont work unless you put abs in


all abs CV are jsut a ring call the (exciter ring ) that the sensor detects thats it.


EDIT: sorry taht was cunfusing i ment you can use them but ABS wont Work!

Yep, you can use ABS axles w/ or w/o ABS on your car. it's just that ABS will only work w/ these axles due to the metal ring around the CV joint that sends a pulse through the magnetic ABS sensor on ABS equipped cars. The only time ABS axles are a problem is if you don't use them on ABS equipped cars
