Default HFP rim color

Does anyone know the name of color on HFP rims? Trying to find matching paint to repair a scratch. So far no luck with local auto stores, either too light or too dark.

i don't think they are anthracite
anthracite looks more darker, leaning toward black

gunmetal is too dark but its closer than anthracite, i got them too. I'd say about a shade or 2 lighter than gunmetal

could always mix colors to match if you arent spraying. if you are spraying you might be able to find a dupont dealer that can get you a can of your color.

I went to a meet not very long ago, the only gg there had HFP rims on and although it does look like a matching color, I could tell the HFP were darker compare to the gg body paint. So they are not exactly the same color. And I got lazy today didn't go to the dealership and ask. Probably do that tomorrow.

I haven't been able to figure out the color of the HFP's either. But I'm going to the dealer tomorrow, so I'll ask because mine are chipped to hell from rocks.

My dealer had no idea what color the HFP rim is, the dealership bodyshop had no clue, and the parts department wasn't sure either. They told me to consult with auto paint expert, and I did. I went to them, and they said they don't have no spray paint that will match the color, but if I leave my rim there, they can make the paint but I'll have to brush it on since I don't have a paint gun. So anyway, I went back to the advancedautoparts and found a SUV and Trunk paint that was close enough and put it on. The difference can be seen if you look close, but not noticeble if you are not looking for it.

I have 18" HFPs and I fill the small chips i get in them with Galaxy Grey touch up paint. When it dries you'd never know there was ever a chip. As for a Bigger area???

Get a good body shop to match the paint and give you the paint break down or if possible find out the color code for the HFP rims and buy PPG or Dupont paint.

Yep, the dealership here had no idea - but the guy who did the wheel repairs is coming sometime next week, and I'll be taking it in to get an estimate. Maybe he'll have some clue what it's supposed to be as far as color, or can provide a hint at the mix. Hell, I hope he can just match it

I'm pretty sure that the HFP rim color is called Carbon Bronze, but don't quote me on that...hopefully this will help you out.

the original K1s i dont think they make them anymore. My friend had a hell of a time finding a replacement one for his car a few months ago. they still make different versions of them though.
