Default Which cat for this setup?

Hey Guy,

So I got my swap in but need a bigger cat(and don't say straight pipe because the cops around here are crazy about smog checks). Here is the quick rundown of what we're looking at
95 Civic EX 2 dr
Stock cat from the EX
GSR obd1 motor
b16 transmssion
CTR cams
Stock airbox with aftermarket hardpipe.
Blox intake manifold
Stock Header (will upgrade soon)
2.5 inch exhaust

Let me know. I was going to see if the stock GSR cat would fit. Let me know.

HAHA that is funny. I'm kinda looking for a direct replacement. Like would the GSR cat or Civic SI cat fit? Something like that. I don't know how to weld so I have no way of putting those flanges on the carsound style cats.

I believe the donut flange for a civic and integra are clocked different. At least this was the case when i put a gsr header on my bseries motor in my civic. Had to cut the flange of the cat, extend it like 5 inches and reweld.

i dont know the actual lengths of the cats, but i can garuntee u that once u put an aftermarket header in, ur going to have to change the length anyways.

Go on ebay and buy one of those 2.5inch high flow cats for cheap.I can almost promise u that it will out perform any stock cat but i am not saying they are the best.
