crx tranny problem
i have 91 crx with a b18ablock with a blown y1 b16 tranny.but i ran into a problem when swaping out the b16 trans for a used ls.the splines are totally diffrent,do i have to get a new clutch and axles?also i now seeing that i might have a 94 and up ls trans but i thought they were all hydro, but i have a cable one. please help i dont know what to do!!!
i think 92 and up Ls tranny is hydro. unless you have a hydro to cable conversion you cant use it. And as for the axles and the half shaft you have to have the same year halfshaft and axles. meaning if you have a 91 integra halfshaft you need 91 integra axles.

94 and up is hydro..
it sounds like you have a 92-93 cable ls tranny,,they are different then the pre 92 cable trannys and need a different clutch (1992 integra)...you can re-use what ever axles you used with the b16 tranny...
Also you'd know if the tranny was hydro, there would be a slave cylinder on it ,,or atleast a place to mount one
