I'm looking to get a s2k hopefully. What are some of the reasons you guys got one? What are some of the things you love and hate about the s2k? Right now, I'm considering getting a RSX type S, s2k, or e46 m3in the near future.

*After looking at the thread on clean S2ks, I'm almost sold on a s2k. It seems like a perfect blend of everything.

 

Other....because my other car was stolen.

 

I'm a Honda man, no way else to put it. Best of both worlds, Honda & RWD, FTW!

 

I voted Convertible, though its really a combination of that, performance, looks, Honda reliability and overall driving experience.

logical progression and me going old (uhm no, but still)

from 3 crx's, a civic an currently an ITR... which is for sale... I'm going for an s2k... Honda, RWD, beautiful, convertible, dunno... the total picture I guess...

 

Had to upgrade from the RSX-S

 

I had a prelude before and had no desire to buy an s2k. Then I test drove one and that was all said and done. I still get amazed at the speed and handling that the s2k has.

 

i got it because my 350z was an automatic.
i was looking for a manual 350z. but i couldnt
so i tried the s2000..
it was fun, until i drove Type R! haha..

You've got a beautiful ITR. Off topic, but that thing is gorgeous.

Still, I'd take a S2k over an ITR any day.

I'm buying one soon because of both being a Honda man and wanting a "realistic" sports car.

after my R got totalled, was looking for replacement
after test driving it for good 30+ minutes
i bought the car without 2nd thought.

story on 30+ minute test drive.
i bought the car from herb chambers honda boston.
however, it was at mercedes-benz dealer which is part of herb chambers group.
the car was traded in by old guy who replaced it with slk55 amg.
so the manager let us bring used car from honda dealership and trade with s2k to be sold since it was within same company and that dealer was about 30+ minutes away. so i had fun

i never had any thoughts of selling the lude.. until i was accepted to cal poly and realized that in CA my MA lude wont pass emissions... so if I was going to replace the lude.. it had to be with a better honda! what better than an 02 ap1?*

i was scared my integra was going to get stolen so i sold it,

it was the S or a g35...

S is nice car but i need a back seat sometimes.

 

if you're looking for a practical car, than the s2k is not for you. two seater, small trunk, can only be driven 3 season out of the year.
