Okay so I tried painting the faces of my new wheels (big mistake.. it doesnt look good at all). Since I still want them black, if I take them to a place to powder coat them, do I need to remove all the paint? I'm sure they have some bathrub full of some super-acid or something they can dunk the faces in that will destroy the paint. Or will I have to sit here with a brush and paint thinner and scrub all day?

I think "face" is the correct term, somebody once reffered to the spoke part as a face and the circle part as the barrel on 2/3 peice wheels so I just kept the terminology.
