Default headgasket for h22a

I have a HG for an h22a4 however i have a friend that needs a gasket for his jdm h22a. Will the a4 gasket work on the h22a ?

from waht i rmember, the a4 gakset is differnent from the jdm h22a and h22a1 gaskets because of the open vs closed deck

I concur...they are two different gaskets, and I've seen the visual differences between the two.

right.






you should use the gasket that the block requires. If you have an open deck block, use the open deck headgasket. same with closed deck.
