imo amsoil is one of the best. but i doubt you would feel any difference between amsoil and mobil 1 synthetic. and if you have a d17 powered car then you should be using 5-20 not 5-30

amsoil? Anyone use amsoil and royal purple? Is there a difference. I heard about royal purple's "Gunk" but it might be a myth...

I highly doubt that anyone could feel a difference between either amsoil syn mobil1 syn and royal purple syn.

synthetic oil is synthetic oil. Its $6 a quart. Just pick one, its a POS economotor that says you can put $2 oil in it, so $6 oil is like giving it gourmet. It doesnt care what you put in it.

Ive tried Amsoil in my Integra and it greatly decrased the amount of oil burned. Now with my civic at 100k, I might try it too.
