My driver side seat belt is open and wont close and no dealer ship will talk to me with out the warrenty paper work. the controle unit is also out. is there any easy way to stop the beeping and at least get the seat belt to stay up?

 

ME NOT A TECHIE BUT CANT THE PLUG (LOCK) WHERE THE SEAT BELT IS TUCKED IN , BE CHANGED .... AND IF NOT THAT .THERE ARE A NO. OF FUSES EACH CONTROLS DIFFERENT FUNC. MAYBE GETTING THE ONE THAT CONTROLS THE SEAT BELT BEEP ... OUT WILL HELP

 

the seatbelt is a LIFETIME warranty item, just take it to the dealership.
if you have any problems with the dealer call the American Honda customer service 1-800 number in your owners manual.
even your 78 Accord is covered
