I Bought A 2005 Honda Accord Coupe
I really got a awesome deal.
2005 Honda Accord Coupe, Black exterior, Alloy wheels, tinted windows for $12,500
Miles: 39,400 approximately when bought
Carfax shows Clean Title, no problems at all.
2 owners: one for 1 year 2 months and the other for 3 months.
Also I am not sure if this a EX or LX, how can I tell? carfax shows EX but my insurance company shows LX

The fact that the owner only had the car for 3 months makes me wonder. Alloy wheels say it's an EX. The EX symbol should be on the car somewhere (trunk lid I think). If the EX symbol is not there, it makes me wonder if the car was wrecked. Could this be a flood damaged car (Katrina, Rita)? Does this car have a moonroof? That would definitly be EX.

EX does not mean V6. There are EX I4. Most are 4cyl. version.

I did a VIN # check with the Honda ownerlink site and it shows up as LX SE.

Maybe the short term owner was moving, lost his job? divorce? who knows.
Carfax shows Clean everywhere! no problems at all, flawless record. VIN # sticker is all over the place, paint feels original. maybe he added the alloy wheels? it shows as LX SE. no sun roof/moonroof.

just the H symbol.
There are no scratches in this car, its flawless. Maybe the owner took it off?
The VIN # is original and matches all parts

a lot of times you can just go over it with a good wax to take away the minor scratches.if that doesnt work then use some polishing compound and a buffer.

Is this true that if I take my car to a detail car clean place, when they run the vehicle to that auto machine to clean the exterior, I would get scratches on it?
what kind of wax? car wax? i can buy that from a car shop? I think the detail car places do that?
my car has 16" alloy, no roof of any type. what is the difference between moon roof and sun roof?

No difference between a sunroof and a moonroof, same thing, different lettering. You can buy an Orbital waxer at walmart with the wax for it as well, use instructions and you'll be fine. Are you sure you have alloy's and not .... HUBCAPS?
I like how you fit 15 questiosn into 2 lines of text.
Car Detailers would NOT wash your car with a machine, if they do, they dont' deserve to be called a detailing shop.
But yes it's true the automated machines do leave marks on the car.
Go get some Meguiar's NXT techwax, it covers up small scratches.
Read instructions, do it carefully with clean cloths, you should be shining in no time.

Was that a compliment or you were sarcastic?
Car detailers have a machine, they first run the car through the machine and then do it manually with manpower. So which ones should I take my car to?

I did my research as if I was buying a LX. I knew it was atleast a LX, anything above would be a bonus. It turned out to be a LX SE.
still under $5-6 below blue book. Nice to have friends like that eh.

the compound is a rubbing compound that you put over your car and you use a high speed buffer to buff out the scratches if the scratch is not deep (meaning if the scratch is not deep to where you can see the metal, then you can buff it out).
You can get these at any place that seels auto paint, preferably, a place that mainly sells auto paint because they are more knowledgable as to what compound to use. They will also give you instructions on how to do it if you have questions.
