Competition Clutch Stages:
STAGE 1 - Gravity Series 2400 Clutch Kit is the economical solution for moderately increased cars and/or stock cars driven in an aggressive manner. This clutch system will safely guarantee 40-50% increase in torque capacity and still deliver extended life. Ideal for stock or very milldly modified vehicles.

STAGE 2 - Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit clutch kit is designed for the moderate enthusiast with considerable bolt-on modifications - to include 60-70 shots of nitrous. This unit is properly suited for aggressive street enthusiasm and moderate track use. This kit delivers approximately 80% increase in torque capacity and extended life.

STAGE 3 - This segmented Carbon Kevlar material with a performance pressure plate will provide the ultimate in street performance. This assembly is suited for 150% increase in torque capacity. Provides quick but smooth engagement and extended life. MANDATORY 500 mile break-in REQUIRED with this set-up. The 2300 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with segmented Carbon Kevlar facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool. Please note that for applications more than 80+HP over stock, we recommend the Stage 4 and up. NOT Recommended for Road Race or Drag Race use.

STAGE 4 - Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit is the ultimate road and track performance kit. This assembly allows for ease of gear transition and smoother take off. Strip Series 1620 is designed for street or track use for vehicles with a 150-250% increase in torque capacity. This unit reduces unwanted heat and increases holding capacity. For a hot street/track car this unit works great.

STAGE 5 - Drag Series Sprung 1420 Clutch Kit is the extreme duty road and track performance kit. This assembly allows for ease of gear transistion and smoother take off. The kit is designed for the serious enthusiast with considerable modifications such as a large turbo or supercharger backed up with internal engine modifications and/or excessive nitrous. It also provides between 250-350% increase in torque capacity. Engagement is noticable, but still streetable.

STAGE 6 - Race Series Twin Disc is the preferred assembly for the professional racer. This unit delivers uncompromised reliability and performance. Recommended for cars delivering 500-800 horsepower at the wheels. This assembly is completely rebuild able and components are available separately. A Carbon-Carbon unit is also available for those wishing to pursue 8-9 second timeslips while maximizing transmission and transmission life. Please inquire.

It was definitely slipping though. When he installed the twin, the car instantly broke 3 axles in a row and never left the starting line. Car ran quicker times with the twin disk clutch upgrade. The 5 is pretty beefy and as long as you keep street tires on it, can handle a lot of power.
