Default Looking to buy a crx, what should i stay away from/look for?

im looking to buy a crx...my friend has a hatch and id like to stay with the whole honda scheme but not the same car. So im looking to buy a crx and totally swap it, any suggestions on what to look for/avoid while shopping for the car or overall price of a engine swap (most likely a b16a) any help would be much appreciated.

thx

Look for RUST for damn sure. Make sure the title is clean and the car is nice, check the car over and make sure it is the car you want. I personally like the CRX HF becasue of the lightweight and if you are doing a swap then this could be a good car to make fast. As far as the price of doing the swap I am not sure about cost on b16a's but I did my b18b swap for under $2000 easy.

don't bother with DX's.
1988 HF is the lightest
90-91 Si have 4wdisk brakes. (if you'd want them, not really that necessary)

other than that, it's just grab what doesn't have rust. check under the side plastic parts, too. the black ones on the rocker panels.
