Hey everyone.. quick question for you all. My 91 si won't start. It's been a long road for me to decide it was the battery, but I'd like to get your opinions too. So, I have this "awesome" Optima yellowtop in my Honda. I got it about a 1.5 years ago. Sometime late last fall it stopped starting up, and I figured it was the alternator. Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago... I take the battery out and charge it up with my buddy's charger. Its was a flat-liner for sure. After it was all charged up I dropped it back in and tried to start her up. I got about 3 turnovers, then nothing. All the interior lights where on, but not the stereo. So this morning I got out and jumped it, and it fired right up. I drove it around to get the cobb-webs off all the while noticing that application of the break would kill the radio. It ran for about half hour with 15 minutes dedicated to driving. I killed it, and it immediately wouldn't start again. At this point i may still have a problem with the alternator, but I'm thinking it may be the battery since after a full charge, I got nothing...

suggestions?

x2, but the battery should still start it, then drive the car until it drains. So battery and alternator. My pennies
