well i totlaed out my 99 ek hatch sadly enough and im picking up an 89 civic Si... the motor in the si is super poochie so i figued since i have the motor wireing harnes and ecu from the 99 hatch i could just put er in the 89. my question is could i bolt up my y7 to the Si trans?? cause my trans is deffinitly out of commition... also between the two cars is there any mount i can use?? or do i have to buy em?.. any other info is greatly appreciated...

i dont recommend transfering parts from a totaled car.

 

wich mounts am i gona be useing, the ones from the ef or the ek?

 

EK mounts would work...you just need a convertion harness from 0bd2 to obd0...

 

i have the whole wireing harness and ecu from my d16y7...so i wouldnt have to convert anything...
