By the rex. Save the 3 grand on either on of those swaps and build your D series and turbo the hell out of it! you cant beat SOHC.

Seriously...I've realized that I might as well stay with the SOHC.

No matter how much money you put into our cars at the end of the day you have to remember one thing.

They're all 4 bangers.

Sure some go faster than others, but just about any other car with the same amount of money put into it will blow its doors off.

And the truth shall set you free!!! Preach it Denz...lol
Its sad but the truth hurts sometimes... we just have to face it.
SOHC is definitely the best way to go, not to mention its also the most reliable!!!

uhmm yea but obviously B series> D series if both are built and tuned. For the price however D series > B series.

If I could do it all over again I'd probably just have stuck with a boosted D series. Probably a d16z6 with jrsc or HMTurbo.

where are you located? because if you do decide to do a swap hmotorsonline is a great place to buy a motor from. They are located in Burbank, Ca which is right by LA

Well, the b18c1(gsr) is going to be the better way to go if you have the money. If you build it you will have more power than you can use on the street. Valves, springs, retainers, valve locks, seals, head studs, rods, pistons, balanced/blueprinted, closed deck, sleeved, and of course a serious turbo kit.

Exactly. I wish I could go back and redo my car choices. I like having a modded C1 in my EH2, but for 1/2 the money, I could have gone just as fast. But teh V-TECH ( ) did sound bad ***.

Oh dude... If you live in Geneva then you want Whip Factory to tune your car. I live in Plainfield/Naperville area. Their link is in my sig. B18C[1] turbo will always put out the most power of any B/D series motor. http://www.hmotorsonline.com is where you should buy it from too. But call the Whip Factory and talk to them about it they'll give you good ideas. Tell them "Tony - the kid with the CRX" sent you.

I hate whip factory, Go to one 6 motorsports. Mark knows his **** wayy better. boo!!!!

Whip factory fucked up the wiring on my friends h22 swap del sol. They even forgot to hook up a knock sensor!

Good thing we put the motor in. $500 for nothing at whip factory.

I think he confused reliable with the fact that you can pick up a decent D series engine in a million junkyards for a couple hundred dollars.

But like I said, imo D series are better if you look at the price point.
