intake manifold swap on dpfi
so we had an si intake manifold with fuel injectors, fuel rail, all the works on it. decided to throw it on the stock d15 motor that is a dpfi. converted it to mpfi and everything starts up.
problem-once started the engine blows white smoke, will run and then die when it reaches operating temp. also a code 16 which in turns has something to do with fuel.
now we have checked the harness and everything is soldered, connections are good to go. running an si ecu. timing checked and re-checked. all four injectors spraying. fuel filter replaced about 10k ago.
anything else i should check. or was throwing an si manifold and converting a dpfi engine to mpfi a bad thing?
