Default Dunlop SP Sport 9000 - Closeout - $85 A Tire - Tirerack

I was just on tirerack and noticed that the Dunlop SP Sport 9000 are on closeout for $85 a tire. If I remember correctly these were normally around $130. So for $85 a tire you cant go wrong. These are a max performance tire. I was about to buy the Kumho Ecsta SPTs when I saw these. I'm a total fan of the SPT's mainly because of their long treadwear. After reading some reviews on the dunlop it was very common for people to get 30K+ miles. Just thought I'd throw it out there for anyone debating on tires. For $10 dollars more you cant go wrong.

I used a set of the SP9000 (on the GS-R), and I really hated them. They didn't grip all that great, and they squealed a lot, even at lower speeds. They lasted quite a long time, but I really couldn't wait for them to be used up, I hated them so much. This used to be Dunlop's top-of-the-line tire, but they have since replaced it with the SP Sport Maxx.

My advice: Get the SPT.
