We just received a Tial/Garrett GT4202 1.00 AR from Tial with their new full V-Band housing this afternoon for a project we've got underway...in case some hadn't seen what it looks like, heres a few pics..

Wow I thought divided housings were cool now V-band. It's amazing the pace of this industry now even though performance and drag racing have been around forever.

ive known about these for over a year, its nice to see some up close shots and stuff, ive seen some photos but none like these. I would leg hump that turbo.

Too bad it doesn't have the newer Tial compressor cover. Looks cool though.

tial has been **** teasing everyone with these housings for quite some time now

until they can actually fill some orders for them for the variety of applications they are showing then no one should pay any attention to them

its cast stainless just like their wastegates, i guess you could shine it up if you wanted, they look bad *** as they are im sure a nice heat cycle will make them look golden brown.

that is next on their release-list I believe, but I as well would like to see their compressor housing in person

MSRP on the 42 housing is $533
however, if you buy it as a complete turbo it runs ~$108 more than the standard 42R

that particular 4202 housing was machined to fit a 4508 wheel, but we will also make one for the 4202 the GT35's are nearing completion too

the turbo is journal bearing gt4202 which is alot cheaper than the ballbearing option.


something like that is in the 1600-1700 range
