Default Clutch Question - 1999 Prelude SH

I don't know if anyone remembers my post about two weeks ago but I finally got my clutch replaced. It all started with my dealership's technician thinking it was the tranny. Anyway...

This is the second clutch I've had put into my 99 Prelude and both times we used a standard Honda disc and plate. My question is this: why does this clutch not grab as well?

I have been driving a new RX-8 for the last two weeks so maybe I'm not used to my car now but I swear it doesn't grab as hard. Even the pedal seems much softer than when I had it replaced three years ago.

you probably just aren't used to it from driving another car. The factory clutch has a very soft pedal feel. After you drive it consistently it will probably feel normal

your fine, compared to most new car clutches it is gonna feel that way, especially the rx-8.
