1991 Honda Accord is going beserk!
Hey guys! Ive had my car for about a year now. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks ago, my auto seatbelt just stopped working on the driver's side. THEN, my speedometer stopped on 136,000, and the green S button is blinking now also. Can someone help me so I know what the hellis going on! Thanks guys
1. Contact dealer regarding seatbelt. Honda has lifetime warranty on seatbelt.
2. Speedometer not working may be VSS (if your have CEL), or the gauge itself (more specifically the printed circuit board (PCB) of the speedometer).
3. The S light blinking may be transmission related. The 4th gen Accords commonly had problems with the Transmission Control Module (TCM). It could something else related to the tranny though. Check the trouble code for the blinking S light, by jumping the connector under the passenger side dash. Look in the Guide to Basic Accord or FAQ up top, in the stickies for instructions on finding the connector and jumping the connector to get the trouble code.

thanks for the reply guys. im not the biggest car guys, so alot of the terms you guys have mentioned, I have no idea what it is. I just learned about the seatbelt from a dealer today so thanks about the heads-up on that. But what exactly is CEL?
VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor
I picked one up on Ebay for $12 plus shipping and that fixed my issue. I think it was like 2 10mm bolts and a philips screwdriver. It should only take about 20 min to replace.
If you look under your dash on the passanger side, just below the glove box there's a little blue (I think) plug. Take a piece of wire and short that plug out, turn the key forward but don't crank the car over. Your Yellow (CEL) will begin to flash if you are throwing a code. Long flashes means the first number short ones mean the second. See example below.
