header bolts

Default header bolts

hey guys just took off my header on my b16a2 and notice that on of the threads on the block are striped can i just re tap and use a little bigger bolt or will it crack the block? and when reinstalling can i reuse the gasket for the header?

Run a tap down the threads and see if the bolt will thread in before trying to "fix" it. The gasket is metal, and although Honda would recommend replacement you can reuse it. I've reused mine twice and haven't had any problems.

just tryed and there are no threads left just a shinny hole should i drill then tap or just tap??

Well I can promise you that you will not crack the block by using a bigger bolt for your header.
