Default minimum length for bumpstops

I hacked my bumpstops when I lowered my car to about one inch in length IIRC. Now, i'm putting it back to stock with the stock springs and some kyb gr2s. Can i still use the hacked bumpstops and will they still function properly?

the minimum length for bumpstops can be enough to prevent the shock piston bottoming out on the shock body....slightly longer is extra insurance though.

you can always try this when you have the spring disconnected... but in your case, a shorter bumpstop will be fine but if you hit a SERIOUS pothole worst case scenario you will have more shock travel which may not be a bad thing. sorry about the scattered post im trying to explain it best i can its just late.

^ +1.. as long as shocks don't bottom out.. or might as well remove it though...
