Default Best low budget DVD Player???

Looking to get a double din dvd player for my 98 lude..I noticed the brands Valor, Jenson, Dual etc that are pretty inexpensive $400-$600. Question is are the name brands i.e Alpine, Kenwood etc much better or are they all pretty much the same?

Thanks in advance

I dunno.... Kias are pretty inexpensive.... You could spend more and buy a Lexus, but you're just paying for the name, right?

Same principle...

Alpine and Pioneer have the best DVD head units I believe.

If you are looking for features on a budget, the DUAL radios are packed with features, but are not as fast as the better models from Alpine or Kenwood or the like.

DO NOT BUY JENSEN OR DUAL. Get like a Pioneer D3. You're better off spending a grand on a decent system then flushing half a grand down the toilet. You're better off buying nothing at all.

I work as an installer at BB and I used to work at CC so trust me.

If you can, look at the Pioneer AVIC-D3, It has a lot for the money, and I know of a few people who ordered them on amazon for 800 shipped.
