Default h22 autotensioner fix???

I hear that the autotensioner fix on a h22 is an important modification bc it fails? Is there any truth to this? does anyone reccommend doing this or am I completely fine with keepin it stock?

Then go ahead and spend your money on modifications. When your autotensioner decides it's time to die you'll be kicking your own *** after Mr. Piston introduces himself into Mr. Valve.

Save your engine from grenading itself. Do the H23 manual tensioner conversion, I'm gona guess your H22 is due for w-pump,front seals, belts anyways.

if you're questioning a $110 conversion don't even bother buying other "mods" right now. You're gonna need a bigger budget.
