Find out today when i took my car to the tire shop that my right rear wheel is bent in the center. As far as i know i did not hit anything with it. But i did do a driving school with it a couple days before and it was driven hard through auto-x course but did not hit anything. my only thought is a huge pothole, or my after market sway bar with adjustable end links. Some comments appreciated with experience with bent rims.
How bent?
I have a minor bend in 1 of my rims, but it isnt noticeable to the eye, and i feel nothing when driving.
If u can notice it when your driving or see the bend in the rims, its probably time for a new rim.
The bent rim will have less structural rigidity than a non-bent rim, meaning it will probably get more and more bent in the same spot over time.
All bent rims are advisable not to be driven on, but if its small enough u will never know the difference

I was showed how bad it was on the wheel balancer just by spinning it with his hand. So they put 3.25 oz sticker weights just on one side. I dont feel anything while driving but i dont like driving on it knowing it had a bend in it.
Would there be a problem running my winter set rim that has a different offset on the bad side?
